Basarin
By Sottimano, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
Barbaresco DOCG from the Basarin cru in Neive, grown on white, calcareous Miocene-Helvetian soils veined with sand.
Tasting notes
Balsamic herbs and spices on the nose, with a hint of wild fruit on the palate. Intense floral notes are joined by long, velvety tannins and a spiced finish.
