A Riserva named after the founder Francesco Costamagna, from the highest part of Rocche dell'Annunziata and aged 24 months in oak. Cellaring potential 15 to 25 years.

Tasting notes

Intense garnet red. Full-bodied, expansive nose of wilted roses, violet, overripe fruit in jam, pomegranate, apricot, white peach stone and dates, with balsamic and spicy hints. Great structure tempered by soft tannins, with a fresh, long finish.

Italy: roe deer with blueberries, bay and roast rosemary; UK: beef bourguignon; USA: slow-cooked pulled pork; Americas: roast asado de tira; Asia: char siu
