Red
Barbera d'Alba
By Rocche Costamagna, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
A fresh, fruity Barbera d'Alba, partly aged in French oak. Cellaring potential 4 to 8 years.
Tasting notes
Deep ruby red with purple highlights. Very fruity, with plum and morello cherry. The fruit widens and intensifies on the palate while keeping its freshness, with a soft almond aftertaste.
Pairs well with
Pasta and risotto; excellent with salami, cheese and poultry
