White
Derthona
By Paolo Poggio, Colli Tortonesi, Piemonte, Italy
The estate's youngest version of Timorasso, from soft-pressed grapes after a short maceration.
Tasting notes
Brilliant straw yellow with greenish reflections. Elegant, of medium intensity on the nose, with floral notes and white and yellow fruit that turn mineral over time. Good structure balanced by marked freshness and warmth, with the typical savoury quality and a pleasant persistence.
Pairs well with
Shellfish, fish starters and first courses, special cheeses such as Montebore, white meats.
