Paolo Berta Valbeccara 1842

A Barbera d'Asti Superiore from 45-year-old vines in the Zisula vineyard, aged in French oak and acacia. The 2016 vintage was called 175 Vendemmie.

Tasting notes

Intense ruby. Lingering, fruity fragrance with violet and ripe fruit; elegant, full-bodied, with red fruits, spice, vanilla, chocolate, liquorice and tobacco.

Ravioli, chicken, fowl, red meats, game, stews and medium-mature cheeses
