Red
Langhe Nebbiolo
By Luigi Pira, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
The estate's most youthful, immediate expression of Nebbiolo: a 1.5-hectare, south/south-west facing plot at 310 metres in Serralunga d'Alba, planted in 1999, giving about 9,000 bottles.
Tasting notes
Intense garnet red; fruity, spicy aromas with light notes of leather; soft, enveloping palate with sweet, fine tannins and good persistence.
