Red
S. Francesco
By Lorenzo Negro, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
Roero Riserva from the farm's oldest Nebbiolo vines, aged 24 months in oak.
Tasting notes
Deep ruby red with a brick hue with age. Deep, wide nose of berries and tobacco, followed by spicy notes of pepper and vanilla. Elegant, austere and persistent palate with notable but sweet, velvety tannins and a warm, encircling finish.
Pairs well with
Venison fillet, pigeon, duck with apples
