Piemonte Barbera Frizzante DOC, a lightly sparkling, easy-drinking red from an old mixed vineyard of Barbera and other traditional local varieties.
Tasting notes
Purple red with violet highlights; fragrant aromas of rose, small red berries and morello cherry; pleasant and delicate, freshened by its light effervescence.
Pairs well with
Cured-meat appetisers, pasta with light sauces, salads and vegetables, freshwater fish.

- Vineyard 'Giribaldi', 0.9 hectares, 5,600 vines/ha; yield about 80 q/ha (56 hl/ha), from an old vineyard where Barbera grows alongside the area's other traditional varieties: Dolcetto, Freisa and Grignolino.
- Vinification
- Fermented in stainless steel for about 8 days at up to 26-28°C; the wine is then refermented in autoclave to give it a light sparkle. A ready-to-drink style, aged 2 months in bottle.
