Red
Terlo
By L'Astemia Pentita, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Barolo from one hectare in the little-known Terlo MGA, on grey-blue Tortonian marl. Powerful and tense, it rewards time in the bottle.
Tasting notes
Mineral, earthy nose with liquorice and flowers, evolving into black fruits and spices. Opulent and powerful, with very intense but elegant tannins and a balsamic touch; more complex aromas develop with bottle ageing.
Pairs well with
Red meats, game, aged cheeses
