Red
Nizza
By Garesio, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Barbera from vineyards in the Nizza denomination, about 12 months in large Austrian oak casks.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red. Intense, complex nose of red fruit: strawberry, cherry, blackberry and sour cherries in spirit. Velvety, harmonious and fresh with vibrant acidity and a grand, pleasant finish; a balance between fruit and alcoholic warmth.
Pairs well with
Flavorful first courses with meat sauces; red meat, roasts and braised meats; cured meats and blue, aged or spicy cheeses
