By Garesio, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy

Garesio Gianetto

Single-vineyard Barolo from the roughly one-hectare, organic-certified Gianetto MGA beside the winery in Serralunga d'Alba.

Tasting notes

Intense garnet red. Aromas of aromatic herbs, flowers and dark-fleshed fruit, mint and pepper. Compact and sinuous structure, taut, dense and velvety tannins, and a savory, balsamic finish.

Pairs well with

Mixed boiled meats, hare casserole, Castelmagno blue cheese from the mountain pastures
