Red
Pinot Nero
By Colombo - Cascina Pastori, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
The estate's entry level Pinot Nero, a Piemonte DOC made for straightforward, immediate drinking.
Tasting notes
Bright ruby red. An open, layered bouquet of slightly underripe red berries such as redcurrant and sour cherry, dog rose, violet and herbal, balsamic notes. On the palate it is warm and generous, with good structure and acidity, cinnamon and white pepper on the finish, gentle tannins and good persistence.
