Sparkling
Pentaris
By Colombo - Cascina Pastori, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
Pentaris is Colombo's Metodo Classico Piemonte DOC Extra Brut, an equal blend of Pinot Nero and Chardonnay aged at least 30 months on the lees.
Tasting notes
Bright, crystalline straw yellow with a fine, persistent mousse. An intense, deep bouquet of ripe exotic fruit such as pineapple, papaya and banana meets acacia honey, with mineral notes of talc and face powder and spring blossom (hawthorn, acacia, daisy). The palate is balanced between roundness and freshness, with a fine silky perlage, savoury minerality and a finish of pastry, butter and hazelnut.
