Alta Langa Rosé
By Colombo - Cascina Pastori, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
Alta Langa Rosé is Colombo's 100% Pinot Nero Metodo Classico rosé under the Alta Langa DOCG, aged at least 30 months on the lees.
Tasting notes
Powdery blush pink with a fine, persistent perlage. An intense bouquet of red flowers, violet and rose, woodland strawberry and sour cherry, with delicate mineral hints. On the palate the balance of structure and freshness brings blueberry and red berry flavours lifted by sour cherry acidity, a flinty, savoury minerality and a long finish of shortcrust pastry, honey and a lingering almond note.
