Red
Barcarato
By Clemente Guasti, Nizza, Piemonte, Italy
Nizza Riserva from the estate's oldest owned vineyards, aged in small oak barrels and 12 months in bottle.
Tasting notes
Very bright ruby red. Decisive, intense, harmonious, with notes of violet. Full and rewarding, fittingly tannic from time in barrel, robust in character.
Pairs well with
Red meats, game and full-bodied main courses; also a wine for slow sipping.
