Risveglio
By Cascina Montagnola, Colli Tortonesi, Piemonte, Italy
Cascina Montagnola's pure Chardonnay, fermented and aged in seasoned French oak from an estate vineyard about thirty years old.
Tasting notes
Intense straw yellow with greenish nuances. Full of character and intensity on the nose, with lovely notes of flambéed banana, toasted mandarin peel, honey and candy floss. Very full and richly structured on the palate, long and persistent.
Pairs well with
Fatty fish in sauced preparations (eel, tench), fried fish, white meats, medium-aged cheeses, stuffed vegetables.
