White
Derthona
By Cascina Montagnola, Colli Tortonesi, Piemonte, Italy
Cascina Montagnola's other Timorasso, Colli Tortonesi Timorasso, from the estate's youngest plantings near its historic vineyard.
Tasting notes
Intense, bright straw yellow, almost golden with maturity. Fine and intense on the nose, complex, with notes of pear, fresh almond and the variety's characteristic mineral nuances. Full, rich and balanced on the palate, with acidity perfectly integrated into the wine's structure.
Pairs well with
Fish preparations, even elaborate ones, frittatas, fresh and medium-aged goat cheeses.
