Tasting notes

This Barbaresco from Rabajà displays a brilliant garnet hue, offering an aromatic bouquet of dried roses, cherry, and licorice. The palate is structured and complex, with firm tannins supporting flavors of red fruit, tar, and a long, mineral-driven finish.

Vinification
Approximately 40 days in cement cisterns, the first 8 days with frequent racking for strong extraction, the remaining days resting gently to extract noble tannins for good development and ageing. Malolactic fermentation and maturation in 30 hl Slavonian oak barrels for structure, elegance and Nebbiolo's characteristic austerity. Aged 30 months in bottle.
