100% Barbera grown in the Asili cru of Barbaresco, from 65-year-old vines at 320 metres, matured in small 1 hl Slavonian oak barrels and aged 12 months in bottle.
Tasting notes
Deep ruby red color. Complex and intense aroma with notes of ripe red fruits, vanilla, and spices. Full-bodied, elegant, and persistent taste with soft tannins.
Pairs well with
Perfect with important red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses.

- Vinification
- Fermented and matured for approximately 10 to 12 days at a controlled temperature of 28 degrees C. Unlike the Maggiur, malolactic fermentation and maturation take place in small 1 hl Slavonian oak barrels, giving a more harmonious taste with fine tannins and a less rustic flavour. Aged 12 months in bottle.
