Red
Stil
By Carlo Casetta, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
Stil is the winery's Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC, fermented partly in steel and partly in barrel, then aged 10-12 months in barrel and at least 8 months in bottle.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red with elegant maroon shades. Delicate balsamic hints and intense fruity notes, with an ageing structure of violet and vanilla. Soft, warm and moderately crisp on the palate, with red berries, vanilla and toasted wood, and an elegant, silky, persistent tannin.
Pairs well with
Red meat courses, especially roasted dishes and venison.
