Terlo
By Cagliero, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Terlo is the second of Cagliero's two Barolo DOCG crus, on the family's own vineyards in Barolo, vinified separately from the Ravera cru.
Tasting notes
An elegant, full-bodied Barolo with a garnet red colour recalling summer sunsets, intense aromas of fresh fruit and spice with occasional notes of white truffle, and a long, smooth, balanced palate.
Pairs well with
Roasts, flavourful cheeses, game dishes, stews and grilled meats, as well as savoury appetizers and richly dressed first courses.
