Red
L'Aurelio
By Bocchino Giuseppe, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
Nebbiolo d'Alba named after Aurelio, the grandfather who worked the family's vines; 13.5-14.5% vol.
Tasting notes
Intense red with brick-red reflections. Spicy and ethereal nose of rose, violet and red fruit such as pomegranate and redcurrant. Markedly tannic, structured and fine on the palate, with a long finish and balanced tannins.
Pairs well with
Filled egg pasta or tajarin with ragù (agnolotti, tajarin), roasts and game, mature cheeses
