White
Derthona
By Azienda Agricola Boveri Luigi, Colli Tortonesi, Piemonte, Italy
The estate's Timorasso, sold under the name Derthona, aged on its lees in autoclave and then rested in bottle for a further year.
Tasting notes
Intense, bright straw yellow, turning golden with age. Intense, elegant aroma with fruity and citrus notes, fresh in youth and evolving into mineral and fruit nuances over time. Warm, structured palate with good persistence, acidity and minerality. The estate recommends a medium-sized glass.
Pairs well with
Savoury pies, cheese risottos, structured and sauced fish dishes, medium-aged cheeses and vegetable flans.
