First bottled in 1992, this rosé takes its name from a Roman Imperial-era theatrical mime mask found at the foot of the Ghemme hill, since theatre was sacred to Bacchus, the god of wine.
Tasting notes
A wine of delicate, evocative colour, drawing captivating aromas from Nebbiolo with hints of raspberry, strawberry and redcurrant.

Pairs pleasantly with starters, first courses, fish and white meat.

- The vineyards lie on the Monte Rosa glacial-moraine terrace: a mix of granite, porphyry, gravel, schist, mica-schist, serpentine, Fenera dolomite-rock fragments and amphibole pebbles, formed by the Monte Rosa glacier depositing rock from the Africa-Europe collision; recognised as a UNESCO Global Geopark.

- A few hours of skin-must contact, giving a true rosé expression of the Nebbiolo grape.
