Gianni Doglia

Gianni Doglia

Gianni Doglia is a family winery that has produced wine in Castagnole delle Lanze (Asti, Piemonte) for over three generations, founded in 1947 by Eugenio 'Genio' Rivella. Gianni, an oenologist, directly manages the family's sixteen hectares of vineyards across the communes of Castagnole delle Lanze, Coazzolo and Nizza Monferrato, with his sister Paola handling the administrative and commercial side since 2013. The estate remains deliberately small and family-run to keep close attention on the whole production chain, and it is certified for sustainable production under the SQNPI (Sistema di Qualita Nazionale di Produzione Integrata) label. In 2022 Gianni Doglia was named 'Viticoltore dell'anno' (Winegrower of the Year) by the Gambero Rosso guide I Vini d'Italia.
