Barbaresco DOCG Riserva from Nebbiolo grapes of the Montersino cru in San Rocco Seno d'Elvio (Barbaresco), aged further in used barrels and selected wood casks, on calcareous soil at 300 m altitude.
Tasting notes
Sumptuous, intense garnet color with orange reflections at the rim, a complex mix of spices, balsamic herbs, tobacco and licorice aromas with a clear tarry (goudron) note. A prominent yet well integrated and pleasant tannic texture, with a long, elegant finish.
