By Taliano Michele, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
Barbaresco DOCG from Nebbiolo grapes of the best exposed plots of the Montersino (Bric Montersino) vineyard, harvested in the second half of October and aged in French oak barriques.
Tasting notes
Dense garnet color with light orange reflections, a broad and complex nose of spices and licorice; full bodied on the palate with sweet, complex tannins leading to a rich, persistent finish.
