Single-vineyard Lessona Riserva from the Covà hill in Castello, aged 36 months in used barrels and two years in bottle. ABV 13.5%.
Tasting notes
Bright ruby. Aromas of red fruits, raspberry and cranberry with liquorice and spice; silky, rounded palate of dark fruit, clove and a slight herbaceous note, ripe tannins and a smooth finish.

- Pliocene marine sands on igneous rock combined with recent glacial sediment; acid-rich (pH 4.5-5.5) with iron, manganese, aluminium and zinc.

- Vinification
- Hand sorted on a conveyor belt, destemmed, gently pressed and gravity fed into open-topped wooden fermenters with natural yeasts. 28 days skin maceration with regular punching down. 36 months in 1,500 litre used French oak barrels, then two years in bottle before release.
