Pure Nebbiolo from the Ormeggio and Castagnola vineyards in Lessona, aged 35 months in large barrels. ABV 13.5%.
Tasting notes
Deep ruby with aromas of red cherries, dried rose petals, rosemary and pine needles. Fresh acidity, silky tannins and succulent red and black fruit, with a long, slightly mineral finish.

- Pliocene marine sands (Ori di Lessona) on an igneous rock subsoil mixed with glacial sediment, acidic and rich in minerals and trace elements including iron, manganese, aluminium and zinc.

- Vinification
- Hand picked, sorted on a conveyor belt, destemmed and pressed. Natural yeasts in open-topped wooden fermenters, 28 days maceration with regular punching down. 18 months on the lees, then 35 months in 1,500 litre barrels; bottled in September 2022.
