Bramaterra from the old Madonna degli Angeli vineyard in Brusnengo, granite and porphyry soils. ABV 13.5%.
Tasting notes
Vibrant ruby. Red fruits, pepper and black tea on the nose; enveloping palate of small red berries, cranberries and some oak-derived spice. Medium-bodied with delicate tannins and a smooth finish.

- Madonna degli Angeli vineyard in Brusnengo, bought in 2004 (one hectare planted in the 1960s, two more hectares added since)
- Soil
- Outcropping granite and porphyry with a lot of metal, especially iron.
- Vineyard planting
- Old vines planted in the 1960s; the vineyard now covers three hectares.
- Vinification
- Hand sorted on a conveyor belt, destemmed, gently pressed and gravity fed into open-topped wooden fermenters with natural yeasts. 22 days skin maceration with regular punching down. 12 months on the lees plus 24 months ageing in bottle before release.
