Red
Ochetti
By Renato Ratti, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
An old-style Nebbiolo known in the cellars of the House of Savoy from the 1600s, kept elegant and easy to drink with soft tannins and small red fruit.
Tasting notes
Light ruby red. Fine, delicate, lasting aroma recalling wild strawberry and raspberry. Pleasantly bitterish, velvety, light and full at once.
Pairs well with
Spit-roasted and grilled red meats, game, fondue with truffles, agnolotti, white and red meat dishes with spiced sauces.
