Red
Conca
By Renato Ratti, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
One of the oldest and smallest MGAs in the Barolo zone, and the estate's most structured Barolo. First vintage 1970; from the 2019 vintage it becomes a Riserva with longer ageing in wood.
Tasting notes
Garnet red. Delicate, lasting aroma with a typically balsamic note, liquorice and mint. Full, warm, pleasantly tannic palate.
Pairs well with
Spit-roasted and grilled red meats, game, white and red meat dishes from classic cuisine, aged cheeses.
