Red
Colombé
By Renato Ratti, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
A fresh, fragrant everyday Dolcetto with moderate alcohol. First vintage 1969.
Tasting notes
Ruby red with full violet reflections. Intense aroma of cherry and ripe plum. Balanced, fresh, fairly tannic, fragrant and winey, with a pleasantly bitterish finish.
Pairs well with
Italian-style antipasti, first courses and fresh cheeses; a classic all-meal wine.
