White
Musa Vino Bianco
By Massimo Abbate, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
A white blend of 70% Moscato and 30% Sauvignon Blanc, fermented separately in oak and steel and blended before bottling.
Tasting notes
Straw yellow. Aromatic scents of thyme and lily of the valley mixed with exotic notes of mango and orange blossom. On the palate a pronounced freshness, with a finish balanced between sweetness and savouriness.
Pairs well with
Aperitifs, or meals of aged cheeses, cured meats such as prosciutto crudo and speck, shellfish and fish in general.

- Vinification
- After careful hand selection and direct pressing, the two varieties ferment in separate containers at 16-18 °C: the Moscato in medium-toast French oak barriques, the Sauvignon in steel tanks. Both age about six months on fine lees (battonage), the Moscato in barriques and the Sauvignon in stainless steel. In March the wines are racked, then blended and filtered before bottling in early April, followed by two more months in bottle before release.
