Sparkling
Rosé
By Marcalberto, Langhe, Piemonte, Italy
Marcalberto Rosé is a Metodo Classico sparkling wine from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, coloured with a small addition of red wine rather than skin contact, a technique more common in France.
Tasting notes
Fine and persistent perlage, antique rose colour. The nose shows notes of crusty bread and red berries. The palate is balanced between structure and freshness.
Pairs well with
Ideal throughout the meal, including with red meat dishes, though not suited to desserts.
