Sparkling
Caterina Rivella Rosato
By Marcalberto, Langhe, Piemonte, Italy
Caterina Rivella Rosato is the rosé counterpart of Marcalberto's tribute Riserva, an Alta Langa DOCG Rosato Riserva coloured with a touch of skin-contact Pinot Nero and aged at least 60 months on the lees before a long maturation after disgorgement.
Tasting notes
Bright antique rose with coppery highlights, very fine and continuous perlage with lingering mousse. Fresh berry fruit, citrus and spicy nuances on the nose, a vertical, dynamic, fresh and tangy palate with a fine sparkle and a long, citrussy, salty finish.
