Red
LavorareStanca
By Marcalberto, Langhe, Piemonte, Italy
LavorareStanca, named after Cesare Pavese's work, is Marcalberto's only still wine, a 100% Pinot Nero vinified red mainly to be blended into the Rosé Metodo Classico, with a small part bottled on its own.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red colour with garnet reflections, delicate aromas ranging from fruit to spices, soft and savoury on the palate with tannins that suggest great ageing potential.
Pairs well with
A wine for the whole meal, a perfect match for second courses of meat such as roast duck and wild game, and for well-aged cheeses and spicy dishes.
