A dessert wine from botrytized, overripe grapes, made in limited vintages only.

Tasting notes

Amber yellow. Citrus, peach, apricot and fig on the nose. Smooth and enveloping on the palate, with caramel and honey.

Pairs well with

Blue cheese, hazelnut cake, chocolate.

Vinification
Made from botrytized (overripe) grapes; fermented and matured in oak barrels for 2-3 years. Before bottling it is blended with wine from the new harvest, so alcohol and residual sugar end up close to even, at 12-13%.
