Malvira Boiolo

Malvira's only Barolo, from a vineyard in La Morra's Boiolo the family has farmed since 2007. Certified organic from the 2021 harvest.

Tasting notes

Ruby red with orange hues. Intense and spicy, with black fruits, mint, cherries under spirits and cocoa. Elegant and persistent on the palate, with a thick tannin and a savory finish.

Pairs well with

Cigar and fireplace, lamb, fillet, braised and roasted meat, game, aged cheese.

Replanted with Nebbiolo; Malvira has owned the original plot since 2007, with a further plot added in 2018.
Vinification
Fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks; maturation in oak barrels and in the bottle, then at least a year in bottle before release. Medium-long maceration and 24-36 months of ageing in French and Austrian wood.
