A traditional Brachetto d'Acqui from the hills between Nizza Monferrato and Acqui Terme, pale cherry red and lightly sweet at about 6% alcohol.
Tasting notes
Characteristic pale cherry red colour with soft violet highlights, a delicate muscat aroma with scents of rose. Sweet but fresh and vivacious, with good structure and persistence. About 6% alcohol.
Pairs well with
Usually served at the end of a meal: jam tarts, fruit fools, strawberries and mixed berries, dry biscuits and macaroons, chilled to about 6 to 8 degrees C.
