A Gavi del Comune di Gavi DOCG made from 100% Cortese, harvested in mid-September and fermented in steel at a controlled 18°C before ageing in steel and bottle.
Tasting notes
Pale straw yellow with good intensity and body. Intense and complex on the nose with citrus, white flowers and ripe fruit and pronounced, almost aromatic notes. On the palate it is pleasantly fresh, savory, balanced, with notable structure and good length.
Pairs well with
Usually served with appetizers, white meats, fish and shellfish dishes. In Italy it is also common to drink Gavi as an aperitif.
