Red
La Marchesa
By Giovanni Manzone, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
A powerful, elegant and persistent Barbera Superiore made only in outstanding vintages, aged about 2 years in tonneaux. Released about 3 years after harvest in a small production of a few thousand bottles.
Tasting notes
La Marchesa Barbera DOC displays a vibrant ruby hue with an inviting aroma of fresh red berries, cherry, and a touch of floral spice. The palate is juicy and well-balanced, offering bright acidity and soft tannins that lead to a clean, fruity finish.
