Gramolere Riserva
By Giovanni Manzone, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
An elegant, deep, full-structured Riserva made only in outstanding vintages, from old vines in Gramolere. Aged 5 years in cask plus a few months in steel before release, about 7 years after harvest, in a small production.
Tasting notes
Gramolere Riserva displays a deep garnet color, with an intense and complex nose of dried fruit, tobacco, and balsamic notes. The palate is powerful and structured, with velvety tannins and a long, profound finish.
