Pias
By Giovanni Daglio, Colli Tortonesi, Piemonte, Italy
Daglio's Colli Tortonesi Barbera, fermented in cement and rested in steel before bottling.
Tasting notes
Sweet notes of cherry, plum and blackberry on the nose. Savoury on the palate, with a full, non-aggressive tannin.
Pairs well with
Cured meats, grilled meat and the classic bagna cauda; an easy, everyday wine that needs no special preparation.

- Vinification
- The crushed must goes into cement tanks and, once fermentation is finished, is racked into steel casks where it rests until bottling. Bottled after the following summer, it is further refined in bottle, allowing the wine to develop its typical notes.
