Langhe Freisa
By Giovanni Almondo, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
Despite its Langhe DOC, this Freisa is grown entirely in Roero, from 80-year-old vines, and made lighter and more floral than its cousins across the Tanaro through carbonic maceration. Certified organic (IT-BIO-015, Agricoltura Italia).
Tasting notes
Decided notes of strawberry and raspberry; light, fruity and lively, a young and convivial wine.
