Bric Valdiana

By Giovanni Almondo, Roero, Piemonte, Italy

Giovanni Almondo Bric Valdiana

The estate's only wine to name its vineyard (an MGA) on the label: Bric Valdiana, a mainly sandy site in the southern part of Montà d'Alba whose traditional ciabot has sea shells set into its stone walls.

Tasting notes

Iris, violet, rose, liquorice, wild strawberry jam, cherry and dried thyme; very fine tannin and a long, savoury finish.
