White
SàMai
By Giovanni Abrigo, Langhe, Piemonte, Italy
100% Arneis from two Diano d'Alba vineyards, cold-fermented in steel to preserve freshness; the name SaMai nods to a Piemontese dialect expression about seizing opportunity.
Tasting notes
Bright straw yellow, with floral and fruity aromas of chamomile and peach. Full-bodied with good acidity, roundness and persistence on the palate.
Pairs well with
Soups, light antipasti, crudites, salads with white meats and pomegranate, and creamy cheeses.
