Red
Nebbiolo d'Alba
By Giovanni Abrigo, Langhe, Piemonte, Italy
100% Nebbiolo from vineyards around Diano d'Alba, aged about a year in oak casks and tonneaux before an extended spell in bottle.
Tasting notes
Delicate ruby red with garnet highlights. Releases forest fruit, violet and rose petal aromas over time. Delicate tannins and acidity on the palate, with a good structure that conveys freshness and elegance; oak is perceptible but never excessive.
Pairs well with
Stewed and braised meats or game, and mature cheeses.
