Red
MötZiflon
By Francesco Brigatti, Alto Piemonte, Piemonte, Italy
MötZiflon, meaning 'hill of birdsong' in the local dialect, is Brigatti's most representative wine: Nebbiolo (85%) blended with Vespolina (10%) and Uva Rara (5%), aged 20 months in Slavonian oak.
Tasting notes
Ruby red colour. Very expressive nose of small red berries, violet and liquorice. Well-structured, full-bodied palate with excellent balance between acidity and soft tannins.
Pairs well with
Land-based appetizers, grilled meats, blue and medium-aged cheeses
