Francesco Brigatti

Azienda Agricola Francesco Brigatti is a family winery in Suno, in the Colline Novaresi area of Alto Piemonte, founded in the early 1900s by Alessandro Brigatti, grandfather of current owner Francesco, who first planted vines on the MötZiflon hillside alongside the family's existing grain farming. The estate farms six hectares across three hillsides (MötZiflon, Mötfrei and Campazzi), guyot-trained and hand-harvested, growing Nebbiolo, Vespolina, Uva Rara, Barbera and native white varieties under integrated pest management with only mechanical grass control and no chemical products. The cellar is split into three areas: an older building with concrete tanks for long skin maceration of the Nebbiolo, a newer bottling and storage area, and an underground room six metres deep, kept at constant temperature and humidity, holding 3,000-litre Slavonian oak casks, 1,500-litre French oak casks and tonneaux for aging red wines.
